Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, celebrated the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the Missile Man of India, with immense enthusiasm and reverence.
The day commenced with a special morning assembly, during which Mr. Anil (PGT Science) enlightened students about Dr. Kalam’s extraordinary life, his pioneering contributions to science and technology and his inspiring journey from humble beginnings to the Presidency of India.To honour his legacy, the Science Department organised a series of science-based activities in the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL). Under the guidance of Science teachers, students actively participated in experiments, model-making and innovative projects, embodying Dr. Kalam’s vision of igniting young minds through curiosity and creativity.On this occasion, Principal Mrs Seema Gupta encouraged students to emulate Dr. Kalam’s ideals — to dream big, stay humble and work tirelessly towards excellence. She inspired them to nurture innovation and uphold the spirit of scientific inquiry in all their endeavours.
